We turn voice recordings into usable content you’ll be proud to share with your audience. Specifically, our app:
No. The Podsworth app is made for voice-only recordings. Files with music will be interpreted as background noise in our system and get distorted during processing.
Our app can process most languages identically. That said, languages that prominently feature smacking, clicking, or clucking sounds as part of words may be interpreted as noise and reduced.
The Podsworth app can be used for speech recording, such as a podcast, audio book, speech, or interview, as well as video.
It isn't meant to clean music files, so make sure to only upload speaker tracks when submitting an order or your file will be distorted during processing.
Yes, your privacy and security is a top priority for us. We keep only what the Service needs: your order, account, team and payment details, and technical logs. Our Privacy Policy lists what we keep, why and for how long.
Card details stay with our payment processor, so we never see your full card number. Order files are deleted from our servers after 30 days unless you keep the project, and all data is transported using TLS and stored on encrypted disks.
Yes, and we recommend it for team owners and admins. Use an authenticator app, or get a code by email each time you sign in. Turn it on from your account page.
For all media inquiries, please send an email to press@podsworth.com and a member of our team will be in touch within 48 hours to assist you.
Podsworth charges $0.25 per minute of audio processing, however much cleanup your recording needs. For example, a 1-hour recording costs $15. With a free account you can also buy credits in bundles of hours and pay as little as $0.15 a minute.
No. You can upload, pay by card and get your files without one. A free account – sign up with your email or Google – keeps your orders and receipts in one place and lets you pay with credits and share them with your team. New customers get 15 free minutes when they sign up.
One credit covers one minute of audio. Buy credits in bundles of hours from your account, then pay for orders with them. We charge by the second for the audio in your files, with a minimum of 1 second per project. Bundles cost less per minute than paying by card, and purchased credits never expire.
Discount codes work on orders paid by card. They can’t be used to buy credits or on orders paid with credits, since credit bundles are already discounted.
Yes. Create a team from your account and invite your teammates by email. Credits bought for the team belong to the team, and everyone on it can use them for orders.
Yes, with an account. We delete files 30 days after they’re ready, unless you keep them: keeping a project for good, both what you uploaded and what we sent back, costs 10% of its credits, charged once from your balance when it’s ready. Tick “Keep these files” at checkout, keep an order later from your account (within 30 days), or keep every order by default.
A plan adds its hours to your account every month and renews automatically. Its hours are used before your other credits. Unused plan hours roll over to the next month, up to one month’s worth, and hours from bundles you buy stack on top and never expire.
Yes, any time, under Billing details on your account page. A change or a cancellation takes effect at your next renewal, and you keep the hours you already have. Hours left when a plan ends don’t expire.
Auto top-up buys a credit bundle you choose with your saved card whenever your balance drops below a level you set, so you don’t run out in the middle of a batch. You also set a monthly limit on how many times it buys. If a payment doesn’t go through, auto top-up pauses and we email you.
Yes, with an account. Connect Google Drive or Dropbox in your account settings and pick a folder. Choose it at checkout, or make it a show’s default, and each project’s files land in their own folder there when they’re ready, beside the download link and email you already get. Podsworth only adds files: it never opens what’s already in your Drive or Dropbox.
Yes. A team account can have a show for each of your podcasts. Choose the show when you order and see how many credits each show used, by day or by month, with a spreadsheet download for billing your shows. API keys, AI assistants and webhooks can each be limited to one show.
Yes, for teams that pay through a finance department. Email info@podsworth.com to set it up. Then buy credit bundles on an invoice from your account: the hours are added right away, and you have 30 days to pay by bank transfer (ACH or wire), ACH debit or card.
Orders and purchased credits are non-refundable, due to the nature of digital files. If we can’t process a project, or you cancel it before processing starts, its credits go back to your balance automatically, and a card order we can’t process is refunded to your card. For help with an order, email support@podsworth.com.
For orders and credit bundles, we accept the following forms of payment:
Monthly plans and auto top-up charge a card you save on your account. Saved cards are stored by Stripe, our payment processor: we never see or store your full card number, only its type and last four digits, for receipts.
Invoices can be paid by bank transfer, ACH debit or card.
There is a minimum surcharge of $2.00 to meet requirements for payment processing and server fees.
No. Every file gets the same complete cleanup automatically: background noise, plosives, clicks and pops, clipping and leveling. Hear before-and-after examples on our Features page.
WAV files aren't compressed when recorded, so you capture the most audio information with this file format. In particular, WAV format at 16 bit, 44.1 kHz, is best if possible.
We accept MP3 and M4A files, but these are lossy formats, meaning lots of sound information is lost in order to lower the file size. The lower the bitrate of a file in a lossy format, the harder it is to fix problems with it.
Yes. Every processed file comes in two versions, each with its own transcript, at no extra cost and with nothing to switch on:
Yes, with an account. The Podsworth API creates projects, takes your files (uploads, or links from the web, Dropbox and Google Drive), and gives back each cleaned file with its transcript. Projects are paid with your account’s credits, the same as orders in the app. Start with the quickstart.
Yes. Test keys run the whole flow – statuses, webhooks and a delivery – without processing or charging anything: a test project gives back your own files, packaged the way a real result is. Test mode has daily limits, listed in the docs.
Yes. Each API key has a rate limit, and each account has a cap on how many of its projects process at once: the rest wait their turn, so a big batch queues fairly and never holds up anyone else’s order. Errors and limits has the numbers.
Yes. Connect an AI assistant that supports MCP to your account, then ask it to clean a recording. You choose what it may do – look at your projects, work in test mode, spend credits, or buy credits with your saved card – and can give spending and buying a monthly limit. Disconnect it any time from your account page. Setting it up.
The Podsworth app allows users to upload up to 10 files per order. If you have more than 10 files to upload at once, you can always submit multiple orders one after the other.
Please note that if you include more than 4 large files (30+ minutes long) per order, that may increase the turnaround time on your order. We recommend splitting up your files into multiple smaller orders if you want them processed as quickly as possible.
We accept WAV, MP3, M4A, MP4, and AVI files in both mono and stereo speaker tracks with no limit on file size. However, larger files may take longer for you to upload and longer for our app to process and return to you.
Regardless of the size of your order, you'll usually receive all of your processed files via email within minutes of placing an order, and always within 3 hours. If nothing has arrived by then, please email support@podsworth.com.
When we're finished processing your order, we email you a download link for a .zip folder containing all your processed files.
Please email support@podsworth.com if you have not received your cleaned files or a follow-up email from us within 3 hours of submitting your order and a Podsworth team member will help resolve things.
Please reach out to our support team at support@podsworth.com. A Podsworth team member will be in touch via email within 48 hours of receiving your message.
If this is your first order with Podsworth or the first order you have been unhappy with, we will gladly re-process your order at no additional charge.
